Heart Rate

Heart rate?
I want to start doing some running each night. I’ve just taken my resting heart rate – 75bpm.
What is a good heart rate to aim for, after some training? Also, What heart rate should I have while running?
I know my resting heart rate isn’t unhealthy. But I want to get fitter than I am now.
AskThomas. You said you RHR is 60, does that mean your fitter than I am? So does that mean I should aim to get the about same RHR over time?
To find your max HR, take 220 minus your age. Then, decide what HR range You Want to train at, aerobic or anaerobic and stay in that percentage.
